I wrote this song for my first daughter Ruby. The song celebrates the playfulness, wonder and joy Ruby brought to our lives. It also references the stresses and strains of the early days. I am lucky to have three girls – Ruby (9), Juno (8) and Lola (5). Juno’s song was the first song I wrote after many years – and Lola’s is yet to be written.
